Yeast infections are normally caused by an organism called Candida albicans or Candidacies and there is no straight proof that it is passed through sexual intercourse. Almost half of all fit, sexually active women and one-third of all pregnant women tested had Candida albicans that may indicate that sexual activity itself may contribute to the growth of Candida albicans.

Real facts to have infection:

Symptoms might vary from very gentle to severe and contain:

1. flaming of the vagina 2. burning while urinating 3. uneasiness during or after sexual intercourse 4. odor 5. annoyance of the vagina 6. burning and flaming of the female genitals 7. itching of the vagina 8. aching urination 9. painful intercourse 10. vulva ruddiness and swelling 11. Vaginal discharge is not forever present and may be minimal, but when present may be cottage-cheese-like in nature.

The source of chronic Candida yeast overgrowth is frequently the gastrointestinal tract. The vagina or urethra can select up the infection during sexual contact, although sexual contact with an infected partner does not generally spread the fungus.

Reason of yeast growth:

Yeast overgrowth usually occurs as the result of

1. exhaustion 2. soaring stress 3. Hormonal fluctuations through the menstrual cycle 4. Increased heat and moisture in the vaginal area 5. Menopause 6. Not drying the outer vaginal part thoroughly after bathing 7. Oral contraceptives 8. Perfumed female hygiene sprays 9. reduced diet 10. Poorly freshen clothing and underwear 11. Poor individual hygiene 12. Pregnancy 13. several pharmaceutical prescriptions 14. Tight-fitting clothes or pantyhose 15. Use of antibiotics, in particular broad spectrum antibiotics 16. Vaginal intercourse with insufficient lubrication 17. Wearing a moist bathing suit or pantyhose for an unlimited time

Frequent use of over-the-counter and prescription medications can make imbalances in the healthy vagina allowing for resistant strains of Candida fungus or bacteria to take hold. Recurring vaginal yeast infections may designate a serious or underlying medical problem including diabetes, HIV and immune system disorders. See the doctor or health professional immediately if vaginal yeast infections do not clear up easily with proper treatment, Recur or the following symptoms are experienced like abnormal genital irritation, discharge and pain.
